Pro Torball World Ranking List

The concept

Pro Torball offers women and men teams world-wide, from 01.03.2002, the possibility of registering the team in two categories in a continual "permanent" ranking list to measure its playing strength.

The system offers an interesting international comparison. The ranking list can motivate teams and brings additional playing tension into the international competition scene.


The system

Each registered team receives a user number and an initial score is assigned. Each participant has the possibility of collecting points at all tournaments playing against other participants. With a ratio system each team receives the current point number of its opponent.

All results, which come into the evaluation system, are secured in a central location. All announced results are published in the Internet.

In regular intervals a new table is calculated and the teams receive their new current point number.
